Having fun at the Giants game

My nephew Nathan's birthday was on Thursday, and for his seventh birthday, my brother took him, myself, Nathan's brother Dillon, and his cousin (my sister's son) Jeffry to the Giants game. They stayed with me and we had a great time. The Giants lost 9-1 to the Dodgers (Dillon's team), but we all had a great time. It was such a great experience. I love those boys!

Having fun at my place with my NERF gun

Showing off his bat, Nathan had a blast

Those cute boys!

Nathan didn't want his picture taken (big surprise)

So he even acted like a vampire to my brother. It was funny.

Dillon with the catcher's style backpack, which was the promotion for the game. The boys were all excited to get it. Great time to go. I wanted one (but only 14 and under got one)!

My brother and I. I'm wearing my BYU tshirt, since I didn't have a Giants one. Go Cougars!!!

Absolute cuteness!!!

They're so cute! Jeffry was a Dodgers fan, but decided to be a Giants fan for the day. Notice the orange?

Another shot of the Catcher's backpack. Of course, they wanted it more as a frontpack since it looked like a catcher's shield.

Them boys were tired after the game. They were so out of it by the time they got back to my place, that they didn't get up when we got them out of the car.
So, happy birthday Nathan. I'm glad you had a good time.

My cute nephews

This weekend when I was home visiting my family, my mom, brother, and his kids went to the Grand Opening of the Tractor Supply Co. store in town. I just love this type of store. I love country living, and this store has cowboy hats and boots (obviously), pet supplies, and of course, tractor supplies. It's just a great blue collar type store. I have to go up and check the closest one around here.

I bought Nathan, the oldest a cowboy hat for his birthday on the tenth. He wanted a black hat, but those were twice as much. Still, he looks cute in the black hat, doesn't he?

They also had a petting zoo outside, so here they are petting a chicken.

Father's Day at Pismo Beach

This weekend I drove a little over four hours to visit my parents who were visiting Pismo Beach with their RV club, the 'Weak-End Warriors'. My nephews Nathan and Dillon were there as well. We had a lot of fun! It was great to spend some time with my nephews. I don't get to spend as much time with them as with my sister's kids, so we had some great bonding time. Both Nate and Dillon are kind of quiet until they get to know you. They both opened up a lot to me. Dillon is so expressive in his face. It's so fun to be around them. Nathan kept saying 'Kirsten' this and 'Kirsten' that. Besides the beach, they loved the ship at the Pismo Sands RV Park.

Nathan enjoying the sand at Oceano Beach Nathan and Dillon waving at the planes that drove by, either offering flights or advertising ATV rentals.
